Private Pullman Railroad Car
1945 three-Axle, Six-Wheel Trucks replaced the 1910 trucks
The lights and fans still operate from a 3000 pound, 36 volt battery so the guests have lights and ventilation even when not connected to power from the station, train, or generator.
Using ice stored in the undercarriage, the car required 500 pounds of ice a hour to cool the interior. This space is now used to carry a spare axle with wheels.
